On September 13 a conference entitled: "Perspectives for the development of a system of protected designations of origin, protected geographical indications and guaranteed traditional specialties" will be held. During the conference, the matter of promotional benefits associated with registering the product name in the EU system will be brought up.

The event will refer to the held on 11-14 September fair Tastes of Regions, during which, among others, agricultural products or food products with the registered name as a protected designation of origin, protected geographical indication or which are guaranteed traditional specialties will be presented.
