The 7th L'Art de la cuisine Martell competition was held on 5-7 March. It aims at selecting the most gifted young cooking teams from the best Polish hotels and restaurants.
The competition is about preparing a dish that will best go with the taste of Martell cognac. Martell cognac cannot be used to prepare a dish but each team has to select the most appropriate Martell type when the dish is finished.
The lead theme of this year's competition was fish - sea trout. Each competing team was to prepare a main course for 10 people served solely on plates.
The winners are: Krzysztof Bobola and Maciej Undziakowicz from Dubiecko Castle (Dubiecko). These winners will participate in the Polish Culinary Cup since the winners of L'Art de la cuisine Martell competition are nominated to the Cup.
