POLAGRA FOOD − good food, trends, innovations and business meetings

For the food industry POLAGRA FOOD is the source of knowledge of consumer trends, a comprehensive overview of offers of manufacturers as well as the promotion of the food industry and its openness to the needs voiced by consumers.

During the 2017 edition the fair will feature the offer of over 200 companies supplying meat, dairy products, fruit and vegetable preserves, sweets, snacks, tea, soft drinks and alcohol. This event is every year awaited by managers of retail outlets and companies engaged in the distribution of food in the B2B market, responsible for obtaining products attractive to today's consumers. This is the time of tasting, testing and talks on cooperation.

POLAGRA FOOD has for years boasted a strong business formula. Exhibitors' stands are visited mainly by managers of retail chains, small-format grocery stores, food wholesalers and companies distributing food. For years, we have been striving to attract to Polagra Food representatives of the food industry making decisions on types of products available in stores. This is one of the priorities in our marketing efforts to make sure that each year the fair is a special space, which builds the foundations for large contracts, opens the door to new customers and creates ideas for new products. Our efforts in this regard are appreciated by large manufacturing companies as well as start-ups entering the market with innovative food. − says Edyta Bonin-Kanikowska, POLAGRA FOOD Project Manager.

The organizers of the event focus promotional activities not only on the Polish market but also abroad. Such opportunities are provided by modern channels of promotion and special Hosted Buyers programme, in which executives of large groups of wholesalers, supermarket chains, importers or distributors of food products from all over the world have for several years been visiting Poznań. The Hosted Buyers program is a very carefully thought-out concept combining the export needs reported by the Polish producers with demand of foreign markets. The finale, or substantive meetings during the trade fair, is preceded by a several-month promotional campaign addressed to merchants from all over the world. − explains Edyta Bonin-Kanikowska, POLAGRA FOOD Project Manager.

Another edition of POLAGRA FOOD will be held on 8-10 May 2018. The new date and formula of the event are to provide benefits for both food manufacturers and distributors by matching the needs of both groups and eventually resulting in their cooperation.
